I have now; and it's not going to happen.
You are supposed to remove the following parts:
Center console tray,
Shift bezel,
Upper panel,
Selector lever knob,
Shift panel,
Console side panel,
Front console box,
CD player,
Front console,
Side wall,
Rear console,
Glove compartment,
Center panel,
Front scuff plate (RH),
Front side trim (RH),
Bonnet release lever,
Fuel-filler lid opener lever,
Driver-side lower panel,
Center lower panel.
Then remove the three screws that attach the Indicator unit, which looks to be a sealed unit with the illuminating LED's inside.
