Can anybody help...borrowed a Mazda 2 this is not to everyone's taste but it gave a audible speed limit alert ie the lady's voice says ...you are exeeding the speed limit you bad boy (made the bad boy bit up)

I can only seem to get my CX3 to bleep the speed limit warning, unless you are approaching a speed camera above the limit.

Does it have the facility to give audible alerts spoken voice as the Mazda 2 if so would appreciate help thanks.

As far as I'm aware you're stuck with just a beep unless it's a speed camera alert.

My lady tells me I am exceeding the speed limit, I only get bleeps for speed cameras.

Gus that is interesting wish I could swop mine around to emulate yours, any clues the dealer says its because of the head up display, but am I correct in saying your sport Nav also has that feature. did yours come set up like that or did you configure it yourself.

On mine, there's a Vehicle Speed Alarm that you can set on the trip computer that beeps whenever you go over a set max speed. But, thinking about it, there are also some speed related choices in the Sat Nav settings on the infotainment screen.

The way mine's setup, she says "Reduce your speed" repeatedly until you do so, but that's if there's a speed camera ahead, ordinarily she stays silent if going over the limit and just the limit sign changes colour on the map screen. I can't remember what settings I've chosen, but I think it's something like [Warning Settings > Speeding > Visual Only] and [Warning Settings > Speed Cameras > Audio and Visual]. I'm still suffering from the effects of man flu at the moment, so I'm not going out in the cold again to check, lol.

You might like to have a fiddle with the [Warning Settings > Speeding] on your car, Dave, although mine's not the 2017 model with Traffic Sign Recognition, and the options may have changed.

Thanks jtonline, mine is presently set up as yours, I will have another fiddle as you suggested, but think as you say the options may have changed.
Hope you recover soon.
