The scheduled maintenance operations are listed in the Owners Manual (Page 6-3 onwards in the UK 2017 manual). If you haven't got a full manual, it can be downloaded from the Mazda website for your country.

Service includes no routine consumables. Wear and tear is not included or brakes, clutch plates, wiper blades, windscreen washer, air freshener, etc

Thanks-this is informative--good
Am I right in thinking then that by "no routine consumables" you mean oil, coolant op up, windscreen washer top up etc ? and IF you were found to be needing new brake shoes --then that would involve both the parts and the labour?
In summary, the actual service--as initially charged is mainly labour costs of a once over check( let's hope that is done!), the actual oil and filter change, top ups, maybe a software update and a car wash and vac out?

Mine had it's first service this morning, a while you wait appointment at the main dealer. It was the outskirts of London and a main dealer but price was exactly as quoted, £173, including a wash & vacuum

My spell checker messed up a bit there. A standard service includes routine stuff like oil, filters etc but not any wear and tear items like brake pads.

Thought the 1st and 3rd was only a oil and filter change, the rest they tick is inspection.

A rip off as the cheapest quote seems to be around £140 for an oil and filter change.

I have no idea what the first service cost would be. I bought the car at 18 months old and paid £740 for a three year deal including MOT. So second, third and fourth services including MOT seemed like a reasonable deal.
