cheers - i did see that post, but wondered with it being over 2years old if something had changed.

Dealer is not interested in fitting them steering me to an aftermarket fitter (who i have used for towbars in the past - but i know they will just be audible)

Yes, it's possible that Mazda could have changed the specification of the aftermarket accessory over the years. I can't be certain, but I think they'll still just be audible with an on/off LED on the switch.

If you buy the official Mazda kit from your dealer, it shouldn't matter who actually installs it, but it might be worth you discussing with them the best position for the on/off switch on the driver's side lower panel before they do the job.
