As per previous posts we have an idea of what the new CX3 will be like in 2019 and the updates.

Mazda will decide what we get but what would you like.

1)First for me after three weeks is move the stop/start button, why hide it behind the steering wheel when on other cars it is easier to find.
2)Although i am not a great lover of electronic handbrakes this would solve the problem of the handbrake being too far from the drivers side and nearer to the passenger seat.
3)An 8 inch higher resolution screen for sat nav etc.
4)A louder horn like on my last Mazda

Apart from these minor points i am loving it.

Please say what you would like Mazda to change.

A quicker way of adjusting the heads up display - I have to have it tilted up and my wife has it tilted down, I've left it for my wife and duck down to see it properly - I can see the speedo part OK.

Good call MJC1216 . . . .

Our CX-3 (bought from new) comes up for its 3rd birthday at the end of September. 98% of the car is just fine and we love it. With 2% that needs tweaking, here's our recommendations . . . .

 A less primitive petrol cap that simply locks and unlocks like the rest of the car.
:x A removable tray that makes it a damn sight easier to keep that 'sloping-middle-storage/USB-area' clean. Just slide it out - clean it - pop it back.
:? Less 'cavernous' front door pockets (has anyone actually ever been able to reach right inside them to retrieve anything that's gone to the back?).
:D A tilting/sliding sun roof on UK models.
:D Wider profile tyres on the SportNav.
:D A hinged flip-out 'rest' (concealed in the glove compartment) to firmly hold an iPad. Perfect for listening to your Spotify playlists.

and finally . . . .

 A low-slung up-rated race edition GSi model for real petrol heads. Same cool CX-3 body with 'grunt'. Sort of Mazda meets those German car divisions doing AMG, RS & M series exclusives. We'd be first in the queue.

Auto door locking on drive off (it's fitted to US cars etc!)
Sunroof option (again fitted to US cars etc)
Full button illumination on doors for lock/windows
Removal of Gracenote
USB charging points
fuller seat cushion area. For some reason the seats are much shorter on CX-3

Heated steering wheel that heats all of it not just the middle bit.

Better interior illumination of switches and a nav screen that looks less grey all the time. We live in a rural area of the country and the surrounding countryside is grey on the nav screen. No sign of green anywhere on the screen unless you’re passing a golf course.

Mirrors that turn down when you engage reverse gear would be good and a sunroof would be a nice option.

Other than that we love the Sport Nav.

The memory electric drivers seat with the stone leather option saves the HUD position for each of the 2 memory settings but bizarrely not the door mirrors. Thankfully the mirrors are easy to quickly adjust.

Auto Handbrake
Digital Heater/AirCon climate control
Proper Armrest
Harder Paint, got tiny scratches everywhere
Quieter Tyres

Apart from that we love it and will probably have another

Yeah a harder paint finish would certainly be an improvement as would the climate control dials from the Mazda 3
