The radio is just one part of the infotainment system, which only powers down when you turn the ignition off.
If you want an almost blank screen with no sound, you can just mute the radio and say "Display clock".
Every day is a school day.I tried the above this morning and a better solution than i had before.I thought i had read the manual in detail but not as well as you. :)

Come to think of it, I can't be arsed with any CX-3 improvements - just let me have that beautiful 'Vision Coupe' featured in the latest Zoom Zoom magazine. Wow.

The 2019 model has more comfortable seats, just what I wanted.
It has 148 BHP as standard, just what it needed.
It has more sound reduction which a few people requested and
It has an electronic brake.
Can I ask where you got this information from?

I'm looking to order a brand new car and it would be interesting to know when these changes are going to be available in the UK. Does the 148bhp include the autos too for example.

Ah OK, yes I'd seen that press release but it is for the US market so I'm not sure how those changes will reflect on the UK. I suspect the 2.0 manual (currently @ 146bhp) will get the upgrade to 148bhp but I'm more interested if there are any changes to the 2.0 for the auto which (rather annoyingly) is currently only offered with 120bhp - fingers crossed.....

It is only the 4WD that has the 146HP engine. The 2WD manual has 120HP. Being for the American market I would guess the 148HP will be in the auto.

BTW, reading the manual won't help. Try searching on MZD Connect Global Voice Commands or follow this infotainment.mazdahandsfree.com/files/M ... ommand.pdf

For me the electronic parking brake is a deal breaker. I will not buy a car with one, so my CX-3 will be my last.
