Just dropped my CX3 at the dealers to have the satnav looked at again... courtesy car is a 18plate 2.0 manual 3, facelifted version of my 15 plate 3. Was expecting it to be quieter than the CX3 for some reason, also maybe than my old 3.
But not the case. Would have expected so, given it is higher in the Mazda range
Was GT Sport 2.0 Petrol Auto Meteor Grey 39mpg round the doors 46mpg on a run
Now 2019 Mazda 3 2.0 petrol auto Meteor Grey

Might be tyres. Some generate more noise than others. My new CX3 came with Toyo Proxes.

Tyres and of course the road surface make a tremendous difference! My friend's Merc is just as noisy as our low profiles!!
