Updated mine and my traffic subscription has been expired 6 months early.
CX-3, Sport Nav, Auto, Petrol, Soul Red Metallic, Half Stone Leather, Sep 2015 to Sep 2018.
CX-5, Sport Nav+, Auto, Petrol, Soul Red Crystal Metallic, Sep 2018.

how long to down load? ive been downloading for nearly 2 1/2HRS only at 8%......

Strange, I set mine downloading & forgot. 3 hrs later I remembered. It was all complete. It did say my subscription had expired but that was for the maps which included Russia. I have subscribed to the maps excluding Russia. It's not very clear.
I suggest that as well as your download speed being important your computer hardware will greatly affect the time. I use a 4 year old i5 computer with 8gb ram & Windows 8.1 but make sure it's maintained with updates, Disk clean up & defragging regularly.

i have now at 50% after 30 mins......

Just updated mine,took 2.5 hours with phone line connection.
Just taken delivery of CX3 Sport Nav 2000 petrol manual in Eternal Blue Mica. This replaces my 21 year old Xedos Sport 2 litre V6.

Download update , cancelled update rebooted computer inserted card and it went to install .

Tried carrying out a map update yesterday and today, but on both days have got a server error message appearing straight away saying "There has been an issue connecting to the Naviextras update server. Please try again" Anyone else had this problem? I will be contacting Mazda Naviextras once I can find their e-mail address

Edit: Just sent a message re the above via the Mazda MZD-Connect website
