Hi All
Just achieved 51 mpg around Norfolk, going around the 50-55mph. Such a pleasant change going slow, very enjoyable!
Not bad for a petrol

That's nothing. Check out attachment 66 mpg. 30mins journey on mainly B roads with a little dual carrageway. Gotta be a record. It is for me anyway. Duel carrageway was actually the worst for mpg. Engine much prefers 45 to 55 mph for economy

it's tricky with a phone camera, it looked the right way up when posted. Will have to use my proper camera next time.jtonline wrote: ↑Sat Jun 16, 2018 6:39 pmYou held the camera upside down when you took the picture; the forum software does not correct for this. You'd have to rotate the picture to the correct orientation with some photo editing software, then edit your post to replace the attached image.Handy Andy wrote: ↑Sat Jun 16, 2018 6:23 am Don't know why it's upside down. The car is still the right way up ??

Interesting, despite the 66mpg for the 30 minute drive your average is only 46.1.Gordongilchrist wrote: ↑Tue Jun 19, 2018 6:41 pm That's nothing. At the moment I'm trying out Tesco Momentum petrol at 5p a litre more than normal unleaded (129.9 opposed to 124.9). I'm also trying out various motorway driving speeds to see how it affects the mpg (70mph or 62mph). I seem to be getting around 4mpg more with the Momentum. I let you know how I get on with the different speeds as well as how the actual mpg compares to the cars display.

65 mile trip from Wokingham to the New Forest via A327 & M3. Generally keeping speed of surrounding traffic except 62 mph on motorway.
