This might explain my questions from the above topic, need to check what version software i have now. Just incase it needs update prior to service next month, and end of warranty. Extended warranty thread is very relevant atm.

Dropped into the dealer today and got upgraded to 59.00.525 or something similar now just need to find what changes it allegedly has
CX-3, Sport Nav, Auto, Petrol, Soul Red Metallic, Half Stone Leather, Sep 2015 to Sep 2018.
CX-5, Sport Nav+, Auto, Petrol, Soul Red Crystal Metallic, Sep 2018.

Out of interest, did they do it for free while you waited or were you having other work done like a service and they did it free on top of that? Now I know TMC is available on the latest version I'm keen to get mine done.

Just dropped in, I was lucky Friday afternoon at 4 the work load had been mainly been finished so the Service manager did it free of charge.

Just thought, I was buying a car at the time :D

59.00.545 seems to have been out and about, at least in the States, since april
Was GT Sport 2.0 Petrol Auto Meteor Grey 39mpg round the doors 46mpg on a run
Now 2019 Mazda 3 2.0 petrol auto Meteor Grey

I must be going mad 😵 as I've done this before. But could you provide the link for the firmware update. I cannot find it😕

The software update needs to be downloaded and installed by a Mazda authorised garage.
Only the sat nav map and Gracenote music database updates are available for download and installation by a vehicle owner.
