Not sure you will pass an MoT with those as they don’t meet the regs.

Sorry to say but these would be an MOT fail and could cause you insurance problems if the vehicle was involved in an accident, it might be declared as being unroadworthy at the time.

There is a good reason why pedals covers are rubber. It minimises the risk of your feet slipping off them.
How many people would even want to look at their pedals? They are functional not decorative.

Only way to be sure would be to ask an MOT tester as it's all a bit ambiguous - But as MrBluesky says in the event of an accident the insurers will look for anything to not have to pay out... ie, "is your car modified in any way?"

They do look nice though :)

A Mazda CX3 can be supplied with Aluminium pedals, pedal covers are legal, what are the regulations, because I thought they just referred to a minimum distance between the brake pedal and the accelerator. The ones in the picture do not appear especially close together.

They do look nice, but the DVSA Categorisation of Defects 23/11/18 Version 2.1 lists "Foot brake pedal anti-slip provision/missing/loose/deteriorated/worn smooth (see note 1)" as a defect. The genuine Mazda aluminium pedal covers have rubber dimples on them to make them anti-slip.
