Hi All,

Just want your thoughts please ?

My dealer has informed me my new vehicle will not be ready for March 1st , may be March 8th, informed today.

Insurance sorted , retention done on plates , mud flaps , scuff plates ordered from elsewhere ready to fit !!

Any thoughts anyone ?

Thanks

Having never had a brand new car I have no experience of the (several?) pushbacks. Not much you can do apart from wait with gritted teeth?

As Andy says, there is not a lot you can do. It is a common issue, boats can't always dock on time due to bad weather and customs sometimes delay things just because they can. Be grateful it's not a heart or lung you are waiting for.

It was my father's funeral on Monday.

Put things into perspective.

When I bought my car new in 2016 I took advantage of Mazda's free 7 day insurance cover, which gave me plenty of time to arrange a policy after I had taken delivery. Such a good idea that I then insured with Mazda and have continued to do so.

Does a few days really matter. Be thankful you are not waiting for a Skoda Karoq or Kodiaq you could be waiting months.
Car sold - but still following Mazda.
