Just a few points :-

1) I wonder if we'll finally get the option of a 2.5 litre petrol engine in Europe?
2) No sign of cup holders - under a sliding arm rest perhaps or coming out of the dashboard in some way? Doesn't worry me one bit mind :)
3) Still had those rear door openings which are part of the wheel arch - wonder if they've filled in the lip inside the door to stop grit n stuff collecting there?
4) What a weird naming / numbering structure Mazda have used for the CX range. Why didn't they name the current CX-3 as CX-2 (as based on the Mazda 2 base) when it first came out, and the current CX-5 as CX-6 (as based on the Mazda 6 base)? Would have then left a nice gap for CX-3 to be used for this new model (as based on the Mazda 3 base) instead of the weird CX-30 name / number?

I was out testing the CX-30 (with the Sky-G 122hp and auto transmission) a few days ago.
I found it to be an excellent car.
Well build, premium qulity and a great driving position (test car was with electric seats) and it's very quiet (at least compared to my CX-3).
It's a bit more sluggish with the 122 hp engine but then again it's a bit heavier.
I would go for the Sky-X, even though it's a bit more expensive, but I obviously need to test first, which should be possible in a months time, when they are available.

And it looks better in irl than in pictures ;)

I think this needs the 180hp engine to be a true drivers car and i think the price difference should be about £1500 compared to the lower 122hp engine.
