I am thinking about fitting an aftermarket armrest to my 2018 CX 3, and I have been looking at the Armster 2 as an option.

Has anyone fitted an armrest to their vehicle? and if so did you fit an OE or aftermarket one?

Any information or guidance will be gratefully appreciated :D

My Sat Nav+ has an armrest fitted (maybe an elbow rest), do you intend to remove that?

I'm still on the 2015 original model; and losing track of what's what on these newfangled models :)

I upgraded in January JT. I loved the old model, but I'm really impressed with the improvements they have made.

Hi, I had the Armster fitted by my dealer when I took delivery.

It’s fine, but is not fitted the same way as the OE - i.e. the centre housing is not removed as it does not have the metal support of the OE version, meaning it’s not as robust. As long as you don’t plan to put your entire weight on it, it does the job.

Hope this helps, all the best with your deliberations.

My car never had an armrest fitted from new (2017 model) so my options are OE or aftermarket
