That depends whether or not the dealer that sold you the car has your email address and registers it on MyMazda for you (which mine did), if not, then you will need to submit a copy of the inside page of your V5C to prove you are the registered keeper of the car.

As an aside, it's also worth checking that the International Security Register records (number etched into your windows) have your details rather than the previous owner's. You can check by calling Retainagroup on 01233 333000 ( http://www.theisr.org )

Thanks for the info, appreciated.

I spoke to the salesman today ( well, email exchange ) and he mentioned they were waiting to upload to Mazda Portal ( presumably thats MyMazda)
he has emailed me a copy of the actual invoice for service that was done in January this year, and once the upload has been done, will also email me print out of service history as a hard copy of the MyMazda info ( not that there will be much to show as its only done 4K miles )
