As i see its only by modding manually infotainment system which is not a solution:)
Issue is that i want to avoid charging and using phone at the same time in order to to kill battery life.
So first thought was to use Android wireless. But as i see this is not a stable or official solution.
Is anyone having any mobile heating issues when on Android Auto?

If I understand correctly, the OP is looking for an Android Auto solution that, unlike the official accessory, doesn't require the 'phone to be hardwired and on charge during use. However, the CX-3 does not support Android Auto wirelessly.

I have an iPhone using Apple CarPlay with the official accessory and although the 'phone does get warm it's not a problem. Your Android 'phone should control the charging and so the battery life should not be adversely affected. The fact that the processor in the 'phone will be working hard running sat nav etc will also generate some heat. Consider where you're putting the 'phone whilst in use in the car (e.g. not in front of a warm air vent) and not wrapped in a dense case.

interesting

given the rate Bluetooth drains my battery if I am streaming music, I now always plug it in to keep it charged.

in the past, I've found using Google Maps, or other sat nav apps kills the battery

That's not exactly true. Supported? Perhaps not. But it can be made to work.

As some of you may know I use the MazdaTweaks version of AA on my car and as yet have not needed to install the Mazda Hub nor pay the Mazda Tax.

Some months ago I experimented with AA and wireless; using AA versions before this latest 4.7 that is now offering wireless connectivity to all.
in the early versions there were three requirements.
#1. set up your phone as a Wi-Fi hotspot and setup Mazda Connect to connect to the Wi-Fi hotspot created.
#2 on your phone, in the AA app, tap the heading for the 'about' page multiple times until it offers developer mode. Accept.
#3 On the 'about page' the menu options now contain a setting for 'start head-unit server'. Start it.

To run AA wireless mode, connect the car to the phones Wi-Fi and start AA. AA should now run on you car screen.

I haven't yet tried it with 4.7, but I suppose connect car and phone by the Wi-Fi hotspot and select 'enable wireless projection' would work. But I also note the developer 'start head unit server' is still in the menu options. So play around with both.

I found pre 4.7 worked but it was quite a palava to set up each time and quicker to plug in a USB connector. And why wouldn't you just plug-in to charge your phone at the same time? Also the speed of the head-unit processor is slow and wireless AA is demanding; it doesn't multitask too well. Maps and music together often resulted in stuttering playback
