Can't believe it, only had the my CX-3 for 3 weeks and have a 3-4mm chip right on the edge of the bonnet . Can anyone recommend where I can get a touch up kit apart from a Mazda dealer preferably on the internet. My colour is External Blue.

Thanks

Got mine from here http://mazda-accessories.com/
£10.94 including delivery. It’s original Mazda paint.

Just looked. Price now seems to be £11.95. I paid £6.95 (plus delivery) a couple of months ago. I must admit it seemed cheap at the time maybe it was an error.

I bought a touch up kit from Chipex. Cost approx £40, not cheap and not as easy to use as they imply, but colour match to Eternal Blue was excellent.
Check Chipex web site for up to date price etc.
One advantage is if you mess it up first time you can try again as it is a one coat process, no lacquer coat.

For reference, Eternal Blue Mica is Mazda colour code 45B.

I bought a very small bottle of touch up paint on eBay. Seller was called motoristcentre. Based in Nottingham. Cost less than £5 inc postage and will prove to be sufficient. You May also need a lacquer top coat but they will combine postage.

I paid £9 for the Mica Jet Black four months ago, from the main dealer. It came with a lacquer touch up brush as well. Mind you, they didn't have it in stock and had to order it in specially . Still, it seems quite reasonable when comparing with the prices quoted.
