Hi

I have been looking for a space saver tyre on Ebay for my car and there are a few listed with the same specs that I need (125/90R16 98M 5 STUD) but I'm not to sure if the stud size will be the same. Can anyone please help.

Thanks

The PCD of the wheel should be 5x114.3

(Pitch Circle Diameter is the diameter of an imaginary circle drawn through the centre of the wheel bolt holes. PCD is measured in mm. 5x114.3 means the wheel has 5 bolt holes and the diameter of the imaginary circle through the bolt holes is 114.3mm).

Thanks jtonline, you are a fountain of knowledge, would 0.3mm make a big difference if I can find a wheel that is 114mm?

Thanks again.

That just sounds like someone has been lazy and missed off the .3 from the description.

Just bought the space saver kit. My old Mazda 6, got a puncture in the side wall ,so I didn't want to tempt fate. I got it from Sandcliffe in Loughborough @ £312.70 which included p & p. £32 cheaper than my local dealer.
When I went to put it in the boot, I couldn't disconnect the subwoofer!! The instruction manual was pretty useless, but then I had a brainwave. I recalled that jtonline had written about this subject in the past, so, I went on to his website to have a look. Result: Easily disconnected!!!!
Thank you jt. :D

You're welcome, Beezageoff, glad it was of use.
I've been neglecting the website for a while now. I may start adding some new content at the weekends.
