I noticed my other half was folding/unfolding door mirrors "manually" using button on door..

Had a look in manual which says to press AUTO button.

Told her this but she reckons it dosnt do anything ?

Is there any settings that have to be activated in the Infotainment system ?

With auto power folding, if the button in the door armrest is in its middle AUTO position, the door mirrors should fold in as soon as the doors are locked, and then fold out again when the doors are unlocked. Try it yourself.

It is possible that your model doesn't have auto fold mirrors and she has been pressing the AUTO window button!

As above don't think your model has auto fold mirrors so she is doing it the right way.

Don't you need the plug in kit to auto fold on locking / unfold on engine start?

c£120 fitted if I recall

Had a look at this today , there IS an AUTO button in door ( seperate to the auto for windows )
I Pressed it down, and when the OH started engine the door mirrors unfolded ok..
However, when we got to destination and switched engine off the mirrors DIDNT autofold ???

Your model does not have auto fold mirrors.(i.e when you close the doors and walk away)

Yes it is the same switch as those that do BUT on yours you have to fold and unfold the mirrors by using the switch manually.

Does that make sense.
