Another vote for the Brodit Proclip, item number 655114 for the Mazda 2 and CX-3 2015-2019.
I just fitted one to the dash in the wifes CX-3 this afternoon, it took two minutes and I also added a self-adhesive YOSH magnetic holder so she can pop her Samsung onto it and connect her charging lead. All very inexpensive and fuss-free.
She was paranoid about hands-free law so now she is a happy girl.
