After upgrading my iPhone to IOS 13.1 I have to reconnect to the iPhone hotspot by entering the entering the password each time I start the car. Also doing so creates duplicate entries in the saved WiFi list. Its although it is not the same Hotspot each time. The system was OK in IOS 12. My wife's iPhone is the same.
I have spoke to apple and of course they blame it on the cars software. I have identified that the iPhones BSSID changes each time so I suspect that the Mazda software is checking this and saying that I don't have the WiFi/Hotspot saved. Awaiting info from Apple about whether the BSSID should be randomized or not.
Short question is anyone else experiencing this problem?
Thanks.
Chris.

I have spoken to Mazda support connect services support.
They say that its due to an update to the Hotspot Security in IOS13 and they can do nothing about.
Think I might be asking for a years refund from Mazda. Very popular phone not now supported by the connect services!
