4 year production run is a bit short though isn't it?
The end of the CX3?
It's only a year and a half ago they updated the CX-3 and I can't find any information regarding Mazda ceasing production of the CX-3.
Not it can't be true but there's no information to be found.
Could they be working on a brand new CX-3 based on a shortened 3-platform (the new platform), maybe called CX-20?
I'm only guessing but it would make sense to me.

Yes, if the CX-3 has been the sales success claimed, why withdraw it after only 4 years? As others have pointed out, all Mazda had to do to meet the latest emission regulations was to fit the new Skyactive engine.

Looking at the EU sales figures it shows that the CX-3 is around 25% of Mazda's total European sales.

You mean like more interior space, better sound insulation and an improved ride?
Not everyone wants or needs a larger car than the CX-3, but I would certainly agree that interior layout, sound insulation (or rather the lack of it) and ride quality are the CX-3's main failings. In my case the argument is academic as I will never buy another Mazda.

Depends how much you reckon those changes are worth. Looking at the recent price list for the CX-3 and CX-30, there is a significant difference between the two in my opinion :-
