If you are happy with the CX-3, and have low mileage that alot of you seem to drive, then keep it. I've done 65k miles with only the steering wheel changed due to peeling. I don't need to keep changing my car until it starts to go wrong, as per my last car at 120k. I don't need a current new plate on the drive as a status symbol.
Save your money, drive your preferred CX-3 & spend your money on other comforts like holidays. Most of you don't spend enough time in your car to warrant such expense.
8-)
I agree. I normally keep a car for 7 or 8 Years. When I change I buy the new car for cash and then sell the old one privately.
The latest number plates are not an issue as I have a valuable dateless registration which our family cars have worn since 1952.
Why all the fuss about the plastic exterior trim on the CX-30? You cannot see it when you are driving, only when you park.

I'd agree , if i had all my money in a car, but, on a pcp its just a monthly payment, so if that payment gets you a new model of car why not have the lastest model?
i dont drink or smoke, i like/appreciate cars, i detail cars as a hobby..its my vice
i swap and change as long i dont have to stump up any cash, i just play the game, the biggest cost to me in swapping the car is £80 cherished plate transfer...i had 3 dealers wanting business, all throwing all but the kitchen sink at me...saying that i had others offering no discounts at all...each to there own, i'm happy as are others who have ordered a cx30, not saying the cx3 is not a good car, as it is.... but you can't beat the smell of a new car

I have a CX3 SATNAV AUTOMATIC MACHINE GREY 2019 2l petrol

Looking at the new CX30 spec I am not impressed.
My model equivalent in CX30 takes 11.2 secs 0-62, compared with mine at 9 sec with the same G engine ,and is £5k dearer!!!
does not sound like good value to me. As a person that likes a good responsive drive, I do not think the CX30 would satisfy me..
I can only guess that the CX30 is much heavier to cause this difference.
Does any one else have this opinion?.

The best answer is to test drive and compare.. everyone has different opinions/needs

But remember in all of these discussions.. the cx30 is not the cx3 replacement....it is the next model up the range

I had a CX5 prior to the CX3, and I am sure it was as heavy as the CX30,but it was not as slow as 11.2 sec to 62.
So there must be some other engineering change?
I have noticed that some test drive reviews say the car is sluggish and under powered, even with X engine.

I think Mazda have only suspended orders for CX3 to get people to order CX30,and will still build CX3 in the future.
The CX3 is a very popular car for young couple, or older couples (like me ) who do not want a big car, and enjoy the sporty drive, and ease of parking in carparks with narrow spaces.
I believe MAZDA is limitting the CX3 to one model only for the time being..

I can't find any information regarding a complete drop of the CX-3 from Mazda. Not on the Danish website nor the German.
Mazda themselves said that the CX-30 would slip in bewteen the CX-3 and the CX-5 and the CX-3 is still one of Mazdas biggest sellers in Europe.
Perhaps the limited production or total dropping of the CX-3 model is only for right-hand drive cars?

I was sorry to read on the Mazda website that the CX-3 ceased production in September. I would have seriously considered one when I change my car in 2020 or 2021. I usually drive small cars and in the past 15 years have owned a Mk1 Honda Jazz, a Mk2 Honda Jazz and a Ford Fiesta. But a couple of years ago I had a requirement for a greater load floor area and a good motorway cruiser, so I ended up buying a 2 year old BMW 2 Series Active Tourer, it has been great and I will keep it for a while longer even though the reason I bought it for has just come to an end. The dimensions of the CX-30 are virtually the same as my BMW but I have been telling my wife that our next car will be smaller so I guess I will be back in a Honda Jazz. Also for a mid range automatic the price of a CX-30 seems rather high.

The new 2020 CX-3 will start at $21,685 with destination, $1,260 less than the new CX-30 ($22,945). With less overlap at the higher end of the range, Mazda plans to make the Sport a better value by making driver assistance features from the i-ACTIVSENSE Package standard equipment.

The package includes full-speed automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, and other active safety features. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto will also come standard, which was not previously available on any CX-3.
