Hi

I will need to replace the front tyres on my car very soon (the rears have plenty of tread left on them) and I would like some advice on....

Should I stick with the Bridgestone's Turanza or can I change to another Brand even though the rears are still Bridgestone's

Any advice is appreciated

Thanks

Ideally you want the same tyres all around, however you can change to another brand togeher with the Bridgestone's if you want to.
Don't mix summer and winter tyres.
With the exception of temporary spare tyres, don't mix different tyres on the same axle.
The new tyres need to have the same or better Load Index as the originals.

There is a PDF document by the British Tyre Manufacturers' Association you might find useful, here:

If it helps, after I had a puncture on one of my front Bridgestone tyres I replaced both fronts with Falken tyres and it did reduce road noise.

That's good to know, I'm thinking of getting these - Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance 215/60 R16 V (95), from Blackcircles for £91.13
Fully Fitted. Then in the future putting them on the rear.

Thanks
