You can get an original alloy spare wheel from caraccessoriesplus.co.uk for £134.60 and a Toyo tyre for £107 from asda fitted. Plus the other bits from mazda maindealer and Screwfix as listed by JTOnline. Cost me about £380 in total. Alot better and safer than the messing about what Mazda supply.

Just fitted full size 18" alloy spare wheel as jtonline instructions. All fitted like a glove, very pleased with the outcome. Just shows the value of this forum. Many thanks.

Hi,

I'm sorry for refreshing this topic, but I would like show my idea for full size spare wheel.

I bought full size steel whell, original mazda, 16', tyre 215/60 and whell insert from Renault Laguna with jack.

A fellow carpenter made a box on the right side of the spare wheel.

It looks like this. Total cost was cca 35 pounds. Of course, the trunk is now smaller, but it is enough for two people :D
