Couldnt find the service table in the books we have in the car ?? Also checked on the MyMazda App - tells me date/mileage of next ( 4th) service , but no details...
Will check the book again.

In the meantime i had a 4th service quote of £ 319 from a Somerset Mazda main dealer.

I'm not sure what level of documentation you get in the car these days. If you've got a computer, the full 2018 manual (8GT4 Edition 3) can be downloaded in PDF format from the Manuals section here https://www.mazda.co.uk/owners/videos-a ... 2018-02-01
The advantage is that you can do searches on the text.

I've quickly copied the Scheduled Maintenance table and attached it to this post for you as two images.

Much appreciated as always Julian :)

Just thought of something else - Is it only Mazda service techs that can reset the service display/wrench symbol ? Thanks.

edit : What engine oil do folks on here recommend for the CX3 ?

You can do that yourself.
Just go in to the service app in the infotainment.
I just reset it myself, because my local Mazda shop forgot to do it at my last service.

For petrol engine -
a) The maintenance due notification can be reset from the Applications icon on the infotainment screen as per instructions in the Owner's Manual.
b) Use Mazda Original Oil 'Ultra 5W-30' or any 5W/30 oil that meets ACEA A5/B5 specification (marked on bottle or in online description).

Cheers for the further info.

I found the Mazda Original Oil on Amazon ( Via Vospers ) and also via Vospers direct, where it was a bit cheaper than thru Amazon.

Only thing that slightly concerned me was that it gave suitability dates as 2015/2016/2017 ( our CX3 is 2018 ) - did the engine change in 2018 or something ?
I am probably worrying needlessly....

Also ( sorry to keep adding questions ! ) Does anyone recommend any sites for buying other service related products eg proper mazda oil filters etc ?

Ta

Assuming you've bought Vospers part number 053005TFE, if so, it's the correct stuff.
"...Please note that compatibility is a guideline only..."
I still get servicing done by a Mazda dealer. Any other parts I've bought from their parts department.
Make sure you retain your invoices for lubricants and parts, so you can provide copies to Mazda Motors UK in the event of any warranty/goodwill claims etc in the future. Although as soon as you go outside the franchised dealer network for servicing, any subsequent out of warranty goodwill claims are usually rejected.

Hi again Julian,

I have been right through the owners manual from my wife's CX3 - there is no info regarding engine oil capacity or brake fluid capacity ( if replacing it )

Do you happen to have this data, or point me where to find it ? I was planning to just buy a 5 litre carton of oil, and need to know if this will be sufficient for oil and filter change, and same for the brake fluid.

Thank you.

Oil capacity should be in the manual, I found it on page 9-7 in my English manual from 2015.
It doesn't mention brake fluid capacity though.
