sad to say that I'm moving on over to Toyota as my Mazda dealer couldn't give me a good enough deal in the purchasing of a new Mazda cx30 or Mazda 3. Toyota is giving me a £3500 off the list price of a new Corolla and a reasonable part exchange considering I won't get my new car till at least April and with the 3-year warranty running out at the end of January plus mot the part exchange is £1000 under the market price. the new Toyota you have to remember now comes with a 10-year warranty providing you have the car serviced every year by the dealer. overall the deal is very good and there was no way my Mazda dealer could match it but that's life. hopefully, the new car will be as reliable as the Mazda

I have been loyal to Mazda for over 10 years with different models and was going to buy a CX-30 a few months ago but like yourself the deal was not even close to being good.
I have had a number of Toyota's and found the service from the dealers far better than Mazda.
I fancy a slightly sporty suv so i will also probably move away from Mazda.
Good luck

Same here, looking to change my 67 plate CX3 in the next few months, I have also looked at the CX30 and am very tempted, but I am also tempted by a Yaris Cross 4WD and the Subaru XV.

Undecided as yet, but the 10 year warranty offered by Toyota coupled with their reliability record is a powerful draw.

Having said that, Mazda service has always been good and nothing on the car has failed in any way.

Decisions decisions! Help!

thanks, guys
it's not been easy that's for sure. getting the corolla design model for £24'000 is good but as I said above have had to take £16'200 for the part exchange so £1000 below the normal because of the wait time for the new car which is around April/May depending on the supply of chips

the specifications on both cars are very similar minus full leather and no power seat. the corolla has power lumbar support and half leather and 17inch wheels, not 18. as for the colour I chose manhattan grey which is identical to what I have now machine grey. all the rest stay the same. the corolla has a 1st gear on the CVT transmission so that the warring sound at low revs is no longer and allows the electric motor to perform in a seamless manner up to 30 mph before the petrol engine kicks in. overall the drive is the same as the Mazda which is very smooth

Hi guys, just letting you know on how things are going in my new car
with much regret, the Toyota Corolla was a big letdown in many ways with the overall finish of the car and the lack of the basics which are now normal with Toyota cars like the bonnet matt and engine cover missing.
I know these are small details but for a car now costing £31.000 not on. The car overall very lightweight and had a fault in navigating cambers of metal to metal sounds along with poor paintwork

I now have a Lexus ux250h hybrid at £36.000 which is a very solid car all over and a very quiet drive on run flat tyres as standard. It also came with a full set of mats luxury and rubber for winter use. The car also came with an electric sunroof and full state-of-the-art security for when driver like etc in a traditional 2 litre format with an E-CVT gearbox along with a 10-year warranty providing you have the car serviced each year by the dealer

The car care nut AMD specialist Toyota and Lexus on YouTube goes into more detail of the car overall. The colour and the cabin colour are the same as in the clip
