Apple CarPlay

Hi , as I have some firmware issues I have decided to go for an upgrade to Apple CarPlay..
Have seen them eBay , and also noticed dealer (Magna-Mazda) offering the upgrade at at discount rate so mentioned this at a recent service and the dealer said they would match the price, now just waiting for the parts.
Fingers crossed it will be worth it !!!

Some dealers have been offering this from £299 to £350.
I think Apple car play is fine but there has been problems with Android Auto upgrade and one Mazda dealer near me won't upgrade.

You can buy the parts from AliExpress for about £65 and DIY, Cheaper than letting the dealer do it

Well finally got Appleplay fitted to the car and it is great, just need to find out how to allow the screen to be touched whilst driving as its annoying the passenger can't change things !!!

Simply, you cannot. It is a safety thing. And yes I know...
