fuel gauge
Strange thing - Filled up the tank, estimated miles to go read 390 which is normal. After travelling 80 miles, miles to go read 350 (which is also normal). However, after parking, upon starting up the miles to go reset to 390 as if I had filled up again. This has never happened before. One thing to note is that I parked almost in a ditch so the car was at a fairly steep lateral angle. Any thoughts?
The fuel gauge on our 2016 Mazda 2 1.5D has been having a few “wobbles” recently as well. Normally get 645 miles range when I fill up but during the last year or so it now takes about 250 miles for the gauge to move off full. Then it goes down normally to about half a tank when it suddenly drops very quickly to about a quarter and then works normally again. In the recent hot weather, one day the range increased by 100 miles and the car had never been driven? I think with age these gauges become less reliable.

I never get more than 450 miles showing when full . Sometimes when I accidentally brim slightly the gauge sticks at 400+ till I fill up again .
I don’t think they’re that accurate-but it doesn’t particularly bother.
