Skyactice petrol big miles
I have a 2.0 petrol, picked it up on the 1st of July 2016. To date I've done 37143 km, at an average consumption of 6.54 l/100km, which Google tells me is 43.2mpg. I've had no issues with the car at all, just the regular services. I've battled a bit with things like a tow hitch and finding roof racks that won't break the bank and will still fit properly and do the job.
I don't do much city driving, but I do do plenty of hills. My usual trip, which is probably responsible for over 75% of my mileage involves going from 1100m down to 600m and back again, with quite a few dips and climbs as I go through the valleys along the way. I overtake quite enthusiastically, but otherwise have the cruise control set at 110km/h (130km/h on the freeway).

Welcome to the forum ColinP. That usual trip sounds a great drive - bet the scenery is superb. Wish my part of the UK had elevation changes like that - at least summer time anyway.

Only 500 miles in so far but averaging 44 mpg without trying too hard. That's better than my previous DIESEL Alfa Giulietta. That was a quicker car though, 170 bhp and pulled like a train. Just didn't like diesel. It was the first diesel car I had owned and will probably be the last.

Straight out of the box that mpg is good. 500 miles isn't exactly huge tho lololol. Is that urban, country roads, motorways or a general mixtureColwash wrote: ↑Wed Feb 22, 2017 2:59 pm Only 500 miles in so far but averaging 44 mpg without trying too hard.
