. . . do you know if the part numbers are still the same for original and modified one?
No, I don't. The current part numbers for the Condenser on Mazda's Electronic Parts Catalogue are:

Diesel - D11R-61-480A
Petrol - DB3R-61-480A

I suspect the part numbers have remained unchanged.

Ref. No. R103/16AREV
Issued November 25th 2016
Revised June 14th 2017 (Revision is just service supply number for refrigerant has changed & photos of refrigerant leak must be attached to warranty claim).

The manufacturer of the condenser has been changed to VALEO and the configuration of the condenser tube has been improved.

Worldwide, but Europe inc. UK & Ireland VINs that may fail are:

JMZ DK **** ** 100001 to 187251, (Feb 10 2015 to Nov 1 2016) and MMZ DK **** ** 100001 to 239505, (Mar 14 2016 to Nov 1 2016).

Visible dark patches can be seen on the surface of the condenser where the refrigerant has leaked (my dealer simply shone a torch through the grille in the front bumper to see them).

To repair, the radiator is moved out of the way, old condenser removed & new fitted with two new O Rings. Radiator re-fitted and coolant topped-up. A/C system refilled with the required amount of HFO-1234YF gas and 24ml.of compressor oil.

I ca do things much better on my “big” computer! REMEMBER TO CHECK YOUR VIN No - it applies up to 187251 or 239505 depending on the series. If in doubt ask.

Parts fitted so far
1 x condensor (unmodified)
1 x control panel (modified)
1 x evaporator (modified)
2 x sealing washers
1 x condensor (modified)

Only thing left as original is the compressor.......

Interesting conversation if you had to pay to replace the condensor circa £1100 for the condensor and regas.
Updated parts list, I now have cold air, just because it is the coldest day in June so far and it's raining they have finally fixed it and I tested it all the way home....... oh and I have 4 new wheels but I don't think that affected the A/C. :D

Mine was confirmed as SNAFU today but my dealer does not know how long it will take for replacement parts to arrive.
