I think that's the CX-4
Yep i believe that to be the case. But not sure why they have warped logic on the naming convention. If it's based on the Mazda2 floorpan why not call it the CX2? If it's based on the Mazda 3 floor pan call it the CX3. Marketing departments, a law unto themselves.

I'm glad you said that. I thought it was auto-locking like the MX5, but I just went and checked it. I've been expecting it to auto lock when I walk away, so I've been leaving it unlocked. It seems ridiculous that it is not standard on the CX-3 when it is on the MX5.

^^^ I think the "walk-away" locking is standard - at least on some grades. What is definitely missing is the "auto-lock" where the central locking kicks in when the car reaches a certain speed and unlocks when the ignition is switched off.

Yes mine has the "walk away locking" which is great, but not drive away auto locking, which is crazy
When Mazda is asked about this they say there's no demand!!!

You have to select walk away locking in options as the default is off

One benefit to be gained with the auto folding mirror dealer option - cost me around £120 for part and fitting - is the mirrors fold once I walk around 10 to 15 feet away from the car so I can easily see it is locked. Plus then less liable to have the mirrors clipped by passing vehicles going too close !

The walk-away lock is very dangerous! Several times now I have left the key in the car accidentally. Overnight outside my house, or in a car park for hours. That would be fun explaining to the insurance company! I'm sure they'd be understanding and pay out, right? Hahaha

I turned the walk away locking off found it a little worrying at times.

Thanks Peter, I hadn't realised it was an option. All sorted.
