My money would be on the new Mazda3 :) If it's half as good looking as the Mazda Kai Concept shown last October, it will be great.

Edit: Seeing following posts, lucky this was only an internet monopoly bet :D

Looks good, be nice to see it in the flesh

Electronic Parking brake is a good addition freeing up space for a proper Armrest at least

No mention of improved Climate Control though, which is an annoying bug bear of mine

I see there will be a centre armrest and cup holders for the rear seat. Rear seat drivers will be pleased :D

Actually the CX3 does get that electronic parking brake it’s needed so long.

Apart from their well publicised safety issues, electronic parking brakes are another source of expensive repair bills when they malfunction. I hear that some manufacturers are gradually abandoning them, along with automated manual and twin clutch automatic transmissions.

I would never buy or hire a car which did not have a proper hand brake. Some may call it old technology, but it is more suitable for human beings in day to day real world usage. I would rather do without a centre armrest than risk having an accident caused by an electronic parking brake prematurely releasing. The internet is awash with such horror stories.
