Let me start the ball rolling.

As I get older I have noticed that things irritate me more and more, like the following;

1) People who get into a lift and press a floor button when it is already lit. Why? The lift knows where it is going, it doesn’t need reminding.
2) People who leave their office desk and get into a lift to go to another floor and the first thing they do is check their Blackberry for e-mails. If they are expecting an important mail why don’t they stay at their desk, or is this just obsession?
3) ……., and finally – don’t get me started on middle line drivers who effectively make a three lane motorway into a two lane motorway! … again, why do it?
Car sold - but still following Mazda.

What irritates me? People making lists of irritations. - a bit reflexive this one. ;)

Smug Brits abroad (we've made a pile)
People slower than me in a supermarket
Checkout ops who are slow to count coins
Supermarkets that de-staff by using self-checkout but still charge extortionate prices
Men who talk to a woman's breasts
Men who try to police what women wear
Men intimidated by a woman more intelligent than they.
Men who can't understand that some women like technical stuff too.
Women who moan as a way of life
Women and men who are too fat and waddle
People who, although they studied physics at school, still talk about Volts running through cables.
People who think it's great to be ignorant.
People who say 'nuffink' to mean 'no thing'
People who say 'd'ya know what I mean' too much
People without a means of wiping their nose.
People who write 'your' instead of 'you're'
People who contribute to online forums.

Jees.... Quite a list already - some people need to "chillax" a bit more init.
I'll add outside lane hoggers (the "fast lane" as some eejits like to call it) to middle lane hoggers.
Use of - or lack of use of - indicators.
Their, there, they're.
People who worry too much about which way to cut toast.
People who get antsy when I just use a fork without a knife in my other hand - get a grip!
Lack of manners and/or courtesy.
People who moan about the length of my hair.
People who say "Come on, get up and dance - you'll enjoy it" Grrrrr!
