The only reason the previous owner of my 1970 Rover 3.5 Litre was willing to sell was that he wanted to buy a 1966 Bentley T1.
Having known the owner for over 30 years, I got the Rover and he got the Bentley. Happy days!

This thread is a lovely read. Thanks Rob for starting it all off.

I see two members owned Vauxhall Victor VX4-90's. They're now worth triple what you would have paid in in the mid-70's.

As for me . . . . Worst cars in order . . . .
2 x Ford Sierras (company cars) 1980s, Ford Orion Ghia, Ford Escort & 2003 Mini Cooper S (with supercharger - not turbo). Plus 3 x bog standard Vauxhall Vectras.

Best cars . . . .
(Surprisingly) FSO Polski Fiat 125 - first car, customised with straight-through Granada box, twin Webber's, Goodyear Grand Prix S tyres, etc., Vauxhall Astra 16v GTE (brilliant car) . . . . and my favourite, one of only a few ever to be built (click link below) - and cherished it for 15 years.

My previous car which I took delivery of in 1996 was a Mazda Xedos 6 Sport which had a 2 litre v6 engine. I changed it this month for a CX3 Sport Nav. If this one is half as good as the Xedos I will be more than happy.
Just taken delivery of CX3 Sport Nav 2000 petrol manual in Eternal Blue Mica. This replaces my 21 year old Xedos Sport 2 litre V6.

LOL No, not a dealer, just been around a long time. Those are only the cars I have owned or have had the use of as company cars. I can't remember all the cars I have driven. I think that maybe I should add a list of my top ten favourites of the cars listed, although that would not be easy.
