I've had four previous cars. This VW Golf was my third; bought second-hand in 1994. Photo was taken in 2005 when I sold it to a private buyer:

The car I part exchanged for my CX-3 was a SEAT Ibiza, bought new in 2005. This photo was taken in 2013:

Welcome to the forum.

Not many people would admit to owning so many Britty Leylys ( ahem, not that I ever did you understand) but the nice thing is you won't have to commit the whole weekend to working on you CX-3. You will love it.

Triumph Herald 1200 Convertible
Triumph GT6

Ford Fiesta mk 1 (well, needs must)
Peugeot 205 GT (great hedge finder)
Saab 9000 CDS (luxury)
Peugeot 106 XS (great hedge finder)
MGF (better than you might think)
Smart 2 (great for annoying traffic wardens)
Honda S2000 (still own it)
Fiat Panda Mk3 (great fun bargain motoring)
BMW 118d (worst car ever owned)
Honda Civic 2.2 CTDi (2006 version)

Ford Anglia Estate - that was so rusty the passenger B pillar had rotted away from the floor - screwing in a steel shelf bracket soon sorted that out! (Before I knew anything about anything)
Ford 100E - Needed a recon engine (soon began learning something about motors) it too rotted away
Ford 100E No 2 - put the recon engine in from the first 100E as a piston found its way through the side of the block!
Ford Cortina Mk 1 1500 - Another recon engine needed!
Ford Cortina Mk 2 1600 - you guessed it, the Mk 1 1500 engine replaced this 1600 due to previous owner managing to drop a ball bearing into the carb!!! (Was really starting to know my way around Ford's now :) )
Ford Cortina Mk 3 2L - you know... with the vinyl roof... Engine caught fire!!!
Ford Cortina Mk 4 2L - had to put the Mk 3 gearbox in as this one was cracked.
Vauxhall Astra Mk 2 1600 - core plugs rusted away - changed
Vauxhall Cavalier 1600 - nothing happened! Px'd it for -
VW Golf Mk III GTi 8v - not much happened to this either, px'd it for -
VW Golf Mk III VR6 - nice car but couldn't really afford to run it, very thirsty so we px'd for -
VW Bora PD150 - very nice, chipped before I bought it, very quick! Stolen after a break-in, recovered and sold on to part pay for -
VW Mk VI GTD - which is still sitting outside until we pick up the CX-3 next Friday - paranoid it might get damaged before handover....
16 plate 2L Petrol, 120bhp Soul Red Sport Nav...
