I personally would prefer a Tuesday... ;)
But yes it's very strange that things like this get through to production! (the whole infotainment is a bit pants as well - doesn't quite deliver what it seems to promise - hence the hacks that are available.)

Have you never used Microsoft software?
Mazda do release firmware updates to fix issues. Like MS, occasionally when they fix something they unintentionally break a feature that used to work OK and you have to wait for another update.

There’s nothing wrong with it, much better than VAG’s I’ve used, although maybe not as good as a portable Garmin

On the History function you do realise there are two lists, one for you most frequently used and another for archive?

If you need to keep one handy use Favourites

As previous, I call on about 40 different address each week, on a 10 week cycle. Quite often on the same week, I need to call again on some address that I have already been to that week..... sods law tends to mean that they are the ones not recorded in either parts of the history function and Ive got to reenter the address. Yeah ok, not the end of the world but there was nowt wrong with all the pennies Ive given Mazda and the history function worked fine on my 65 plate 3 and the 18 plate hire 3 from the dealership....... so make mine work as it should, Mazda👹

Having prodded Mazda UK over the past 2 weeks, today received pcall from dealership saying they have new software for the CX3 hardware to fix missing satnav history data problem and restore missing estate road speed limits that disappeared when the new sd card was fitted 4 months ago. We'll see.....

Hope you have a speedy recovery.

At the time of writing, the current EU software for the MZD-Connect system is version 59.00.545A. It fixes a few symptoms that may have shown in previous versions, some of which are:
"Speed limit does not show up on the navigation screen on some narrower roads"
"When setting a destination using the address, House Number not found error pops-up even if the address can actually be set."
"When trying to enter a new destination address, a different house number may appear as a destination while correct house number is actually set."
"When trying to enter a new destination address, some house numbers may not appear in the list to be selected from."

I can't see any mention of the history function, but that's not to say it isn't included in the fixes, or that they haven't issued an even newer software.
Fingers crossed for you :)

That's interesting. Should be a good reason for a dealer to do the update for free. Will have to visit dealer armed with the information that certain navigation problems / bugs are now fixed with the latest release.

Firmware on my 08/17 is 59.00.502. Anyone any idea when 59.00.545A was issued?. I have been informed the firmware to be installed on mine is a brand new issue.
Being of a cynical nature, am hoping Mazda/dealer arent going to put 545A into mine , saying it's just released brand new firmware when it's perhaps 8 to 9 months old.
I should learn to be more trusting........

.545A was June 20th I think. Not entirely sure, but that's the date the Repair Guidance doc was issued.

Thanks for that. Been digging on a USA forum as well and there's reference to 545 back in April so thinking UK must be further down the food chain and/or the A denotes an update (in June) to the original from April. Also It was for the 6.
We'll see what the dealer puts in .....
