Will I have to go through the rigmarole of reference to manual for a clock reset( under radio..odly!) or will -like magic-the car recognise( like my fone!) that there has been the BST/GMT change.

Just check in the settings menu that it has been enabled and the Daylight Saving Box is ticked. I would think it should be by default.
