Although I don't understand why, I have to agree that ventilating the car appears to reduce the problem. Having spent many years in the air conditioning industry I would have thought running the ac would have reduced the moisture content of the internal air and stopped any misting. I was WRONG. Demist your screen with warm air and open the windows. When you come back to your car next morning it will be mist free, or at least very close to it.

I've found that simply not having the AC on all the time has helped, but still far from perfect. The rear screen heater is so slow to work it drives me mad. That and the fact that lowering the fron windows doesn't clear any external water off them....... It certainly isn't a winter car.
Funny you should say that I have also always thought that the rear screen heater is slow to work, and I also agree about the windows annoying, thought that might just have been my car.Gadgetman wrote: ↑Tue Feb 05, 2019 7:15 am I've found that simply not having the AC on all the time has helped, but still far from perfect. To eliminate condensation in the car, use the following method.
Take a cotton sock, filled with cat litter silicate, white cats urine cats, tied to the end by the inodation, sitting in the glove box, under the chair. I guarantee you get rid of the condensation in your car in 24 hours. Weekly bag dry it in the microwave oven.
Success.

MAZDA CX 3 G150 AT, AWD, REVOLUTION TOP,
Well that explains the morning condensation issues, I will have to get some cat litter. But doesn't explain why the rear screen heater is so useless. Hell my 50 year old MGB GT works better than this Mazda effort!

When I decided to Google search this particular problem with my own 2019 CX3, I wasn't really expecting to find anything. So having read all 5 pages of posts here it's good to know that I'm amongst other suffering owners. I'll certainly try some of the suggestions..even the one of asking the wife to stop breathing 10 mins before arriving at our destination.
I also agree with the comments regarding the slow heated rear window and that lowering the side windows fails to clear them. Plus, after a really hard frost my side windows won't even budge.
