I'm a Brit living in Munich and we have a well known problem here.. "Marders"... they are small sharp teethed animals who love to climb up into the warm engine compartment and eat either rubber piping or the "Sound Insulation" mats under the bonnet.
I have a 2016 CX3 and am trying to find a realistically priced replacement insulation mat. Online there are thousands of alternative offers but none for the CX3 !!

It is a ten minute job to replace it and therefore I would obviously prefer to do it myself. I wrote to Mazda and of course they suggested taking it to my local dealer.. which as I have already stated, I think is not necessary in this case.

Does anybody have an alternative supplier please?
Thank you.

Maybe https://www.online-teile.com/mazda-ersa ... anguage=en
or try auto breakers yards. Type "autoverwertung munich" into the search box at www.google.de
or buy a sheet/roll of under bonnet sound insulation online and cut to fit using your old one as a template?
