rear seat belts

Hi everybody have just joined not sure what i'm doing yet .My CX3 is 2015 31000 miles hardly any use in the back seats yet the drivers side rear seat belt will not recline without a lot of messing about has anybody else had same problem ,i've seen other forums from abroad that people have had problems was wondering about UK Thanks David

Just a little add on to that I have filled in the online form at mazda uk but no reply yet

Hi Mason and welcome to the forums. I have never had anybody in the back of mine and I haven't seen any threads on here that have mentioned it. Sorry I can't help.

Not had any probs with mine, although I rarely have rear seat passengers to be fair. Perhaps the webbing is being pinched by ill fitting trim? If you can't see the problem, you may have to get a dealer to look at it. If it turns out to be the recoil mechanism at fault, Mazda UK may replace out of warranty as goodwill if your dealer makes a request.

Just to let you all know I got in touch with Mazda had to take my car to a mazda garage to have the seat belt checked and I got a phone call later the same day to book my car in to get seat belt replaced for free .Thanks mazda thanks everyone for your input
