Does anyone else have issue with the reversing camera lens getting dirty very quickly?.
I drive 30 miles to work every day and if I wipe the lens at the start of my journey, by the time I get to work I can barely see out of the camera when reversing into my space.

Any tips or suggestions on covers or agent to make the much fall off.

Does your car have mudflaps?

Have fitted them myself and while the lens does get dirty I'm not cleaning it every day despite living in the sticks.

It's a poor design and there's not much you can do about it.
It should be hidden away and reveal itself when you select reverse, like the VW ones.
You can apply a coating of Rain-X Plastic to the lens which helps a bit.

I also have mud flaps.
It helps to keep the rear of the car (including the camera) cleaner than without it.

Sorry for checking on the thread, unwell at the moment.

Thanks for the replies.
I thought of rain-X but thought being so small it wouldn't help.
I'll consider the mudflaps as I also live in the sticks and the roads are always wet from the farmers fields.

The mud flaps at the front wheels also keep the sides of the car a lot cleaner.
Tastes differ and apart from the functional aspect of the mud flaps, I like the look of the CX-3 with mud flaps (Mazda's original) better than without.

Can you advise where you got the mudflaps from?.

The dealer installed the mudflaps when I bought the car.
They were advertised on mazda.nl as OEM parts.

You can get the OEM mudflaps from a Mazda dealer -
