Hi everybody

Is it me or does the car horn sound a bit wimpy. Can it be 'manned' up a bit??

When you hit the horn it sounds like "excuse me do you mind" you have two choices to replace them, the first is, if you can decorate the hall through your letterbox then just do a straight swap, the second is to remove the front end, there is a how to someone on the forum, the second route is probably the most common.

Someone did manage to replace the wimpy single tone horn with two flat type Hella Strong tone horns on the same mounting, without removing the front bumper and grill assembly - check out :-

Other(s) have found removing the bumper and grill made the horns far easier to fit. Someone did post a pdf file with instructions on this, but my quick search can't find the link unfortunately.

...yeah, it's wimpy! You could wind the window down and shout!!? :lol:
