My soul red Sport Nav was three months old when I got it, being an ex demo. Got around to giving it a good clean at the week-end and was disappointed to discover several light scratches on the bonnet. They are surface scratches and cannot be felt with the finger nail so I am hoping they will come out. I did try just polish (Auto Glym Resin) but they remain.
I have bought some of this:

complete with "waffle pad" but to be honest, I am getting nervous about using it. Has anybody tried it on the soul red? Or should I bite the bullet and pay a professional?

Try Meguiars Scratch X
I've used it on my Soul Red with success

Tried the G3 - waste of time. Followed instructions to the letter but the minor scratch remains and I now have dull paint despite several polishes. Very disappointing. Will now look into getting the bonnet machine polished by a professional.
