FYI I got my Nextbase dash cam fitted at Halfords for £30; it is of course wired up to turn on with the ignition

I've installed a Thinkware F770 front and rear camera, powered via a Cellink B. Write-up here: http://www.jtonline.info/thinkware-f770 ... m-cellink/ :D

Nice write-up :)
Do You know for how long the dashcam can run on the batterypack when parked?

I'm considering installing a dashcam myself (although a different one) and think the batterypack is a very good idea.

Santa,

Check out the information on this webpage for Cellink B battery pack running times :-

Thanks, :)

I drive 30mins to work and at 09:00 the dash cams go into time lapse parking mode. They are still powered on when I set off to go home at 17:30 and at 18:00 they go back into parking mode and are still on at 08:30 the following morning. The figures on the page that st3v3cx-3 has provided a link to are probably about right, but it of course it will depend on the camera/s you choose and the amount of charge in the Cellink. There is an optional 'slave' battery that you can purchase to plug in to the main Cellink which doubles it's run time.
