Passenger door unable to open

Hello forum members,
I am currently away and the following problem has occurred this morning with the passenger door.
When the car is unlocked either via the door button or remote all the doors/tailgate can be opened except for the passenger door which remains locked.
I can open the door from the inside and have narrowed it down to when the car is double locked I.e. two presses of the door button of remote control.
It isn’t a major problem and can wait until the car can be booked in with the dealer, but I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced the same and if there is a simple fix?
