I had similar reservations before mine arrived. I live in a hilly area with lots of long dragging hills. I need not of worried though. The power delivery is really good even well loaded. Sport mode takes it to a new level. Town and country driving I return the low to mid forties and the roadholding through twisty country lanes is quite impressive.
