Check the date of the article, then go to a UK dealer and guess no more!

Stick a zero after CX-3 and I think that's what they're talking about! :)

after my test drive here are a few of my thoughts on the cx30.
Excellent,
the driving position is not high or on top of the car you feel sat in it.
the sound insulation is the next level, very quite.
the drive is not as harsh as the cx3 on 18" wheels, rides very well
the feel and ambiance of the cabin is very very nice, a very nice place to be.
the the look and size - the body mouldings that some critisize are not as bad a the pictures make out and look ok. the size is not overwhelming as in the cabin is as big as the cx5, but the size of body is only slighty bigger than the cx3, the boot is bigger( you would get a weeks shopping in).
the engines are as reported... the G spec is fine and drives well, we did a mix drive and got 40mpg , the X spec is as good with just a little more , but is it worth the extra inital cost and servicing cost? i think this is an individul preference, but those who are buying an suv are not interested in F1 perfomance. For us the drive of the G engine is suitable and for me spending the extra cash on spec would be better.

so a for us a Mazda CX30 Gt Sport in soul red is on order....
this will be our 4th Mazda -

Thanks for the update...i am not a fan of the CX30 and if the CX3 is discontinued then it will be another brand for me.

A few reviews have not been that good for the new Skyactiv X engine saying it offers little extra performance and importantly torque over the standard engine.

PS i still think the cladding looks awful but may look better on certain colours.

I'd agree with the reviews of the 'x' engine.....for the money it's not ...in my opinion worth it.. as it's my cash I'm parting with not a company car .
Honestly the 'cladding ' ok in the flesh, no bigger than or marque's..to lighten it you could vinyl the rear undertray and front airdam like the cx3 with a body/silver colour...

Looks like it's still got the rear door in-built crud collection design as on the CX-3 :(
