just paid £494-85 for my Mazda yearly premium. this includes legal cover breakdown as follows
Motor premium £408.31
Motor Legal £31.95
Protected NCD £27.09
Broker Fee £27.50
Total cost £494.85
You paid £494.85

Just paid £336 covering personal & business use, ncd protection, etc with LV.
Sports Nav Auto Petrol 2017, 131bhp (chipped), Soul Red, Half Stone Leather, Safety Pack, Arm Rest, Auto Folding Mirror Kit, Detachable Tow Bar, HatchBag Boot Liner.

the difference in the premium I think must be where you live ? my renewal come through from LV under my previous car insurance from Mitsubishi which is also underwritten by LV for £550 so by now transferring it to Mazda LV I've saved £55.

Agreed re premium. There are so many variables - your age, where you live, any driving penalties, any claims in last 5 years, any additional drivers, are you a new customer etc etc - that it makes comparing premiums to other peoples somewhat academic, in my opinion. All I do is use one or more of the comparison sites each year and get quotes. Surprise surprise you'll often get a cheaper quote on one of those sites from your existing insurance company - so ask them to price compare with themselves if you are happy with the reduced price ;)
