Just paid £336 covering personal & business use, ncd protection, etc with LV.

Agreed re premium. There are so many variables - your age, where you live, any driving penalties, any claims in last 5 years, any additional drivers, are you a new customer etc etc - that it makes comparing premiums to other peoples somewhat academic, in my opinion. All I do is use one or more of the comparison sites each year and get quotes. Surprise surprise you'll often get a cheaper quote on one of those sites from your existing insurance company - so ask them to price compare with themselves if you are happy with the reduced price
